Preparedness Toolkit for Primary Care Providers
Through various assessments including focus groups, key
informant interviews and surveys, Dr. McNeal gathered information
to understand physicians' current knowledge of and training in
emergency preparedness, perceived barriers, perceived importance,
and resource, training and awareness needs. The data collected was
used to inform the development of the Emergency Preparedness
Toolkit for Primary Care Providers.
The toolkit is mean to be a resource for providers and provide
abroad range of resources and recommendations to assist practices
in preparing for emergencies, including general preparedness tips;
checklists, templates, developing plans/MOUs; and roles for key
personnel and partners.
