PACER provides a number of education programs to foster expertise in the science of disaster medicine and disaster preparedness, including our Summer Scholars Program, which seeks  to foster opportunities for students to work closely with recognized top subject matter experts in conducting research that will further the science of preparedness.

DHS Programs

The Department of Homeland Security offers several internships and training opportunities to expose talented students to the broad national security mission. Openings can be competitive and early application is encouraged.
